About me

Design strategist & civic technologist

I love being presented with a problem that feels like a Gordian knot and untangling it with design. I can work at any phase of the design process, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be defining early stage products.

Over the past decade of my career I’ve worked on a wide range of products and problems, from public-facing civic services like HealthCare, gov and Medicare.gov to internal, enterprise applications such as custom, in-house built tools for the MBTA’s Green Line and Bus operations.

I aim to be strategic, effective, and nimble in my design approach by:

  • helping teams align on solving the right problem

  • using “just enough” research to ground decision-making and as risk mitigation

  • using inclusive, accessible, and human-centered design principles

  • bringing cross-functional team members and stakeholders into the process early-on

Outside of design, you can find me reveling in the beauty of Boston’s third spaces, performing stand-up comedy, learning music production, and perfecting my omelette-making technique.
